If you’re fed up of living with the burnout, the masking, the juggling with the weight of being ‘a good girl’ all the time, then Defiant Daughters is for you.

You’re warm, rebellious, funny and unfiltered, always rolling your sleeves up to help others, but now you’re a bit lost. Defiant Daughters will help you remember and reclaim your Mojo.

  • Your Mojo is your inner spark.
  • Your Mojo is your rebellious confidence and your inner self-trust.
  • Your Mojo is your authentic energy that got buried under expectations from everyone else.

Come in to play fierce with your Joan Jett energy; while relaxing in your cottage-core aesthetic. You punk-rock/plushie-loving oxymoron of awesome you!

This is not toxic positivity, or hustle culture – Defiant Daughters is your favourite hot mess of:

  • Tools designed for brains that don’t work ‘normally’
  • Support without shame or judgement
  • Gentle systems instead of rigid rules
  • Reframing burnout as information, not failure
  • Practical strategies for energy, overwhelm and boundaries

Coaching that meets you where you actually are (not where you think you should be).

OUR Community pillars

Belonging for the outsiders

A welcome for those who’ve been overlooked, misunderstood and underestimated

courage and comfort

Soft blankets, scuffed boots, mugs of tea and laughter

rebuilding together

When someone falls over, we lift them up and walk beside them

honest stories

Snort laughs, open tears, recognition for being tired and triumphant

radical encouragement

We lift each other up, without judgement or perfectionism

The defiant Daughters’ Symbol

Defiant Daughters logo. A punky font 'Defiant' is overlaid 'Daughters' which has a capital handwritten D and a clean font. To the right is our four-leaf clover symbol.
We don't use the four-leaf clover because we believe in luck. We use it because we believe in us.

The Clover 🍀

We don’t use the four-leaf clover because we believe in luck. We use it because we believe in us. The clover isn’t a charm, it’s a reminder that our mojo was never lost – just buried under expectations.

Each leaf represents what we find in this sisterhood:

Strength

Softness

Rebellion

Reawakening

The Defiant Daughters‘ clover is rare, imperfect, wonky, but still found in nature – just like us.

Probably the most useful training I’ve had on how to manage my staff, but with the overlay of neurodivergence made this an essential session. Thank you.

I’m not neurodivergent, I elected to join to become a better leader. This training was essential for knowledge to support all my staff, not only those with a diagnosis. Many people choose not to disclose their differences, but what is ‘normal’ anyway?

Fantastic session.

Thank you for this session, it was bold, brave and brilliant.

Started with a dance party, ended with a standing ovation. Maddie’s talk was amazing, she can make you cry one minute, and be laughing the next.

Can I give you 6 stars?

I felt completely safe and supported during the session. Maddie took time to put boundaries in place about interaction with each other, everyone could contribute on their own time and in their own way. I wish more people would lay the ground rules of engagement out first.

FINALLY someone acknowledging that there isn’t a bandwagon of people being diagnosed, it is diagnoses being caught up often too late to be of assistance in school or life. When I got a diagnosis of ADHD at 32, I cried for weeks, I was able to find myself in information, instead of thinking I was broken or difficult. The workarounds that I unknowingly put in place to function was, is, will be forever exhausting, but now I can see why I’m tired.
